The Atlanta Hospitality Prayer Breakfast(AHPB) was created to give those in the hospitality industry a place to build community with each other. As AHPB approached its 10 year anniversary and set its sights on the next 10 years, the founders and board members saw a key opportunity for growth across Atlanta, especially within a younger demographic.
To help the Atlanta Hospitality Prayer Breakfast connect with a younger demographic, we started by examining the organization’s core mission and why attendees connect to their breakfast.Through our research we uncovered a key distinction of the breakfast: an industry-focused community offering honest, authentic relationships.From that anchor idea, we established a set of brand attributes which would serve as the foundation for an intriguing yet, inviting visual identity.
Our team developed a robust visual identity system including typography, an identifiable and modern icon, a usable and flexible visual pattern, and photography. The brand symbol is inspired by the intertwined shapes that make up a stained glass window, while serving as a monogram and nod to the traditional church body.
The result is not only a refreshed look but a more modernized brand reflected in their visual identity, their language, and their approach. Ultimately the new brand identity reaches a younger audience while still remaining relevant to AHPB’s existing attendees.
